In 2021, it was decided to continue the idea of the Christmas Tree Festival, but in an outdoor setting, because of COVID-19. Instead of a Christmas tree inside the hall and church, community groups were asked to supply an outdoor display using solar of battery powered lights. The traditional Christmas displays, with a theme of JOY, from the community groups more or less circled the church and a trail was established so that visitors could walk around the church grounds and view the displays. In addition, church members created light displays on the church itself. The grounds were open to the public in the evening from 18 to 23 December. Coffee and cakes were served in the hall with donations going to RangeCare. The event was titled LightsUP@Christmas.
